Had Home depot come out for insulation. Explained to someone on the phone that was hard to understand. I wanted blown in insulation in the attic and the walls. Set up appointment, man comes out and tells after much talk about I need to put foam backed wood over the whole two story house and tells me finally they don't do blown in insulation in the walls. Tells me I'm trying to put 1/2 a band-aid on the insulation. What do you mean, just give me a price to blow insulation into the attic if you don't do the walls. Well then I get the lecture on any rats, bats, vermin pipes showing then they won't do the blown insulation . I have to clean up the attic before they can do that. I say can you just give me a price for doing the attic, just measure and give me an estimate. I come back 5 minutes later and he won't go into the house, upstairs to a closet that has 3 steps to get into attic, no he can't do that, he has to keep his feet on the ground. I tell him what the heck. Well, there is no sense doing the attic anyway if you can't blow insulation in the walls. He gets all mad and says I disrespected him and he doesn't have to put up with that. I tell him that the woman was East Indian and she couldn't understand what I was saying because blowing insulation in the walls and home depot doesn't do that. Now he calls me a racist. This is not good no matter how you look at it. I am over 70 years old and he is the one who was disrespectful.
